Marist Comprehensive College Ezzagu offers academic programs based on the structure of Universal Basic Education, which includes junior secondary schools (UB1 – UB3) and senior secondary schools (SS1 – SS3). The Senior Secondary School Examination (SSCE) is taken at the end of SS3.
MCCE follows the Nigerian curriculum, which provides a diverse range of subjects for students to study throughout their junior and senior secondary school years.
The subjects offered at Marist Comprehensive College are grouped into six departments, which include:

3. Commercial Department: This department offers subjects related to business and commerce, including Accounting, Economics, Commerce, Business Studies, and other related subjects.
4. Social Sciences Department: Subjects such as Geography, Civic Education, Social Studies, and Economics fall under the social sciences department.
5. Languages Department: This department offers subjects such as English Language, French, Igbo, and other foreign and local languages.
6.Trade Department: The vocational department provides practical skills-based subjects such as Home Economics, Technical Drawing, Agricultural Science, Computer Science, and others.
